How To: Replace Flame Light Strips In The Fireplug Pro Series Electric Fireplace

Problem: The flame light strips are not working correct.

Solution: Replace the flame light strips.


Models Supported:

80070 - Fireplug Pro 24"

80071 - Fireplug Pro 29"

80072 - Fireplug Pro 33"



Tools Required: 

    - Phillips Screwdriver 

    - Needle-nose Plyers


Instructions:

1. Turn Off The Fireplug Pro Fireplace.

2. Remove the back panel of the Fireplug Pro Fireplace by removing all the screws on the back panel.


3. Remove the power cord cover by removing the 2 screws holding it in place and moving it to the side.


4. Once the power cord cover is moved out of the way, you can see the 2 flame LED light strips at the bottom of the fireplace.


5. Remove the 2 barrel connectors holding the LED light strip in place by twisting them to loosen.


6.  Remove the flame LED light strip from the fireplace and disconnect both connectors from each end by pinching the clip and pulling them cable out from the strip.


7. Connect the new strip and test.


Once satisfied and the LED flame light is now working, secure the LED light strip and resecure the back panel to the fireplace.
