Tools Required: Phillips Screwdriver, Scissors/Boxcutter
1. Unscrew two screws securing the glass panel (one on each side).

2. Open the glass panel by gently pulling it outwards. Remove the front panel and place it gently on a soft surface.
3. Remove the media, unscrew the crystal strip, and remove it.

4. Remove the supporting metal strip at the bottom of the display panel by unscrewing the screws that hold it in place.

5. Unscrew and remove the downlight box located at the top of the display. If your downlight is malfunctioning, this is the right time to examine the light strip connections.

6. Unscrew and remove the supporting metal strip at the top of the display panel.
7. Now, we need to unscrew and remove the control panel, and the display panel can be tilted outwards.
8. If you open the display panel and remove it, you will see the control board all the parts of the fireplace are connected to. Now, unscrew all screws holding the flame panel in place.

9. After removing the flame panel, locate the flame rod motor. The flame rod should be attached to the motor.

10. Separate the Flame rod from the motor. (They are held together by a zip tie that needs to be removed.) Remove the zip ties and screws Holding the motor to the metal housing.

11. Follow the cord coming from the motor to separate it from the rest of the wires (it can be held to the housing of the fireplace by tape and zip ties). Then unplug it from the motherboard.

12. Run the new Motor wire back through the motor housing and back to the motherboard. (Retape the wire with the other wires to the side of the fireplace unit to keep away from the flame light area).

13. Plug it back into the same spot where you had previously disconnected the old motor.

14. Now, you can just start putting everything back together again by reversing the process.
15. Once the fireplace is put back together, the process is completed.
