How To: Reinstall the Flame Rod on The Sideline Infinity Pro Series Electric Fireplace

Problem: There is a rattling noise when the flames are moving.  This is most likely due to the flame rod coming out of it's socket.

Solution: Reinstall the flame rod.

Models Supported:

80064 - Sideline Infinity Pro Forte 40"

80045 - Sideline Infinity Pro 50"

80046 - Sideline Infinity Pro 60" 

80051 - Sideline Infinity Pro 72" 

80066 - Sideline Infinity Pro 84"

Tools Required:

 - Phillips Screwdriver 

 - Needle-nose plyers

Instructions: 

1. Turn Off Sideline Infinity Pro Fireplace.

2. Remove the glass panel from the fireplace by removing the 5 screws holding the panel in place.

3. Once the glass panel is removed, remove the driftwood & crystals and the crystal strip.

4. Remove the 4 screws (or more depending on the size of the unit)  holding the bar at the  top of the flame display board.

 5. Once the bar is removed, remove the flame display board. 

6. After removing the flame display board, remove the screws holding the flame panel in place.

7. Once the unit is open, locate the flame rod. 

8. Re-insert the flame rod back into the socket. 

9. Once reinstalled, test the fireplace to be sure that there is no noise.

10. Once satisfied, reinstall the flame panel and refasten the 4 screws holding the panel in place.

11. Once the flame panel is installed, reinstall the flame display board and the bar holding the bar in place. 

12. Test fireplace before installing the crystal tray, driftwood, crystals, and the glass panel.
