The following instructions describe how to troubleshoot problems with connecting your fireplace to the Touchstone Fireplace App.
Models Supported:
All Wi-Fi capable models with the Wi-Fi symbol located on the manual Control Panel
Instructions:
1. Make sure your phone is connected to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
2. Make sure Bluetooth is installed on your phone.
3. Go to the Touchstone Fireplace App and press the "+" in the top right corner but don't click "Add Device" yet.
4. Press and hold the power button on the fireplace until the fireplace enters pairing mode (“P0” is displayed on the display panel.) It may take up to 15 seconds.
5. Now, press "Add Device" in the app.
6. The fireplace should be detected, click "Add" button next to it.
If the fireplace is not discovered, please click here and follow the steps shown.
7. You will be prompted to enter your network credentials (make sure you are connecting to the correct Wi-Fi network – must be the same one your phone is connected to)
8. If the credentials are wrong, the network is not 2.4 GHz, or the Wi-Fi signal is not strong enough, pairing will fail.
9. If everything is good, the fireplace will be added.
