How To: Reinstall The Flame Rod In The Chesmont Series Electric Fireplace

Problem: There is a rattling noise when the flames are moving.  This is most likely due to the flame rod coming out of it's socket.


Solution: Reinstall the flame rod.


Models Supported:

80033 - White 50" Chesmont Fireplace

80034 - Black 50" Chesmont Fireplace


Tools Required:


    - Philips-head screw driver

    - Needle-nose plyers



Instructions:

    

  1. Turn Off Chesmont Fireplace and unplug the power cable from the outlet.

 

    2.  Remove the fireplace from the wall. 


    3.  Remove the screws shown below to remove the back panel from the fireplace. 




    4.  Once the back panel is removed, locate the flame rod and check to be sure the                 flame rod is in its socket. 



   5.  If the flame rod is out of the socket, please reinstall the flame rod.  Test the unit                  once complete.
