At the bottom of the User Interface in the app, look for the "Scene" button and tap it once.
Tap “Create Scene” button in the middle of the screen.
You will be presented with several automation choices. In your case, you want to tap on "Schedule."
Now, you get to set the time when your fireplace will turn on. (I set it to 13:00 for the purpose of this example)
Tap "Next" in the upper right corner.
- Here, you will program the condition and the result that will lead to turning on your fireplace.
- You should see that under "If", the condition is already showing "Schedule: 13:00".
- Now, just add an action that will be executed when our programmed condition is met, and the time is 13:00.
Tap on the "+" icon to the right of the word "Then"
From the "Add Task" menu, select "Control Single Device."
Now, from the list of functions, select "On/Off"
From the “On/Off” menu pick "On" and tap "Save"
On the "Select Function" menu tap "Next" in the upper right corner.
Tap "Save" at the bottom of the "Create Scene" interface.
You will be asked to enter the Scene Name. Enter "Fireplace ON" and tap "Confirm."
The app will ask you: "Automation created. Start using it?" - Tap "Yes"
Now your fireplace is programmed to turn on at your desired time (in our example it is (13:00)
In the same manner as we created the “Fireplace On” Scene, we now can create another one and call it “Fireplace Off.” To do that, you will need to tap the “+” icon in the top right corner.
The only 2 steps that are different in creating the “Fireplace Off” scene will be selecting the “OFF” option from the “On/Off” menu instead of “ON”…
... and then, naming the scene “Fireplace Off” instead of “Fireplace On”
As the final result, we should have 2 scenes listed in the Automation menu:
